June tends to be a busy month for my family, and there is definitely no exception to that this year. My youngest son’s birthday is tomorrow (TOMORROW!!!!) and I am so not ready for it. I’m really not ready for this month at all really.
Well, before it became June, it was May. And, at the end of May, I started a new job. I am now a hospital operator for the University of Washington hospitals. I am currently going into my last week of training before I go to my actual shift for the position, which will be Tuesday through Saturday evening. I will have Sundays and Mondays off. That means for me and the husband, we will be spending Sundays together hanging out or going out to places and doing things then.
My eldest son got a job too! He’ll be an usher for a venue nearby. He started there about 3 days ago and his full first day is Tuesday. I am hoping he gets hours and this one sticks!
But now we are in June. So this June, I have 2 kids’ birthdays (youngest and middle), a HS graduation (middle), and a holiday (Dad Day). The youngest son’s birthday and the middle son’s graduation are taking up the next 2 weekends, and the middle son’s birthday will take up a day towards the end of the month. Dad Day is right after the HS graduation, so we might have to celebrate it another day since the hubby deserves to have a day as well.
Why would we need to do Father’s Day on a different day you ask? Well, that’s because we are doing a graduation party to celebrate, and family and friends will be here to celebrate as well. I’m sure the family has plans on that weekend to hang out with us as well as do things with the graduate, since that is what happened with the eldest when he graduated high school. Only seems fair to do that this go around too. I know that some family members won’t be able to join us or stay as long, but we appreciate them just the same. We’ll also have some streamer buddies coming over too! I’m hoping to have a blasty blast!
Ok time to bring back a cool segment I keep forgetting to do!
